Produktinformationen "Suicideyear - Dream 727"
Die CD DREAM 727 enthält Suicideyears 12-EPs Remembrance und die neue Japan-12-EP. Instrumentale langsame bassige Trap Beats & Southern Hip Hop Beats.
DREAM 727 combines Suicideyears Japan and Remembrance EPs together in a joint CD release. James Prudhomme wrote Remembrance while reflecting on themes of love and loss against the backdrop of the deep American south he calls home. Remembrance deals with letting go, he explains. Alive with an idiosyncratic sense of melodic space, his repertoire eschews a topical palette for a personal aesthetic that offers a visceral love letter to abstraction.
Suicidyears proper label debut deviates from the darker hues of Japan while exploring a blossoming, water colored type of melancholy. Synched with meticulous 808 patterns so on point and elegant, Remembrance makes it easy to take for granted what a meticulous craftsman Prudhomme is. With this in mind, revisiting Japan yields new discoveries. Japan features reworked tracks from the original mixtape, an inventive redraft so as to avoid the ghosts of samples past and pastiche. Like the metalworker who blends porcelain and pewter, Suicideyear's way of contrasting subtle parts (a chime here, a steel drum there) into a whole are most prominent on Japan. The results are hypnotic and in the flow. An eye and ear to Suicideyears rookie year mixtape casts warm light towards his future, which we are all truly anticipating will be rmarkable
